Aspen-
I lay down on my bed with a sigh

Crow

I follow her through the door and let out a sigh of my own.

Aspen~
"Well he was a total creep" I mumble under my breath but loud enough that Crow could still hear

Crow

"I'd hate to talk about a God in this manner, but yes he was a total creep. I wish I could've turned him into a sculpture, but freezing the sun God isn't that great of an idea."

Aspen~
I sigh "Yeah that probably would have caused more problems than it would have solved..."

Crow

"I know, but at least Ice sculptures can't talk."

Aspen~
"Do you think if I ever get control over myself that you would teach me how to make sculptures like that?" I ask him quietly

Crow

I smile, "It would be my pleasure Aspen."

Aspen~
I smile a tiny bit "Can I ask you something kind of strange?" I ask him

Crow

"Go for it," I say as I get to work fixing the statue she broke.

Aspen~
"Well, uh, how long did it take you to be able to learn to control your powers?" I ask

Crow

"A year or two I guess, but having it at the level I do now has taken my whole life."

"Have you always known?" I ask him

Crow

"Not really, I only learned about it the year I came to camp," I answer.

Aspen~
"What was your reaction when you found out?" I ask quietly not realizing how many questions I was really asking and how he might not be comfortable

Crow

"I was scared at first. I used to not even like the cold that much, but now I love both of them," I say, thinking back to my first year.

Aspen~
"Is your dad still...." I begin, I then cut myself off when I realize how pushy and nosy I was being.

Crow

"He is dead if that's what your asking," I say, not minding the questions that much

Aspen~
"I'm sorry" I say with a sigh How could I be so insensitive?

Crow

"Don't is a common question at camp, especially if you stay year round."

Aspen~
I nod and sigh letting the awkward silence overtake us

Crow

I whistle as I fix the broken parts of the statue.

Aspen~
For some strange reason I seemed to recognize whatever it was that he was whistling What song is that? I wonder trying to figure it out. That momentary peace was short lived though when all of a sudden I just get a really bad headache.

Crow

"Something wrong?" I ask when I see her face change.

Aspen~
I shake my head slightly not wanting to worry him. "Nah I'm good" I lie simply
