~Lilith~
"That's... really impressive," I say, running my fingers around the edges. "Will it melt?"

"Although this isn't exactly my case, I agree with Alvie."

{ Nikko }
"I. . ." I had nothing to say to that, I was at fault, "Okay," I frown.

"Again, not my case but don't worry about it." Reina smiles and crosses her arms, "Just don't do it again and i'm sure you will be fine. Besides, it's not like we're sending you to prison."

~Alvie~

Something like a smile creeps across my lips. This son of Nike is baffling in his behaviors, but I don't find myself as annoyed by it as I would with others.

"Thank you, Reina. Do you need anything else, Nikko?"

~Xavier
"It won't as long as I'm here. Do you think you can get on?"

~Lilith~
"Um, maybe. Can you give me a hand?"

~Xavier
"Of course," I say, putting my hand down on her backside to help her up onto the surfboard.

{ Nikko }
I get on one knee.

Then put on my shoe.

"Nope, that was all I guess."

~Lilith~
I blush a little bit at his hand's proximity to my butt, but I step up nonetheless. "Wow, this is wobbly," I say, shifting my feet in an attempt to keep from flipping over.

"Alright. I'll be on my way then. Bye!!" Reina shouts as she walks away, engrossed in her letter.

~Xavier
"Just put one foot forward, and spread your weight out on the board to balance," I say. "You'll be fine, trust me."

~Alvie~

"Very well. Have a good day," I say, walking away.

~Lilith~
I do as he says, feeling a little bit more stabilized but still wobbly.

"Okay. What next?"

~Xavier
I take a deep breath, focusing myself. I'd been practicing for the last few months with my cryokinesis, and this had been the fruit of my efforts. Still, it took time to create large pieces of ice like this, and time was quite precious on a battlefield. Still, considering my origins, it'd definitely been an improvement since I arrived here. Never having seen ice or snow before in my life had made shocked when I'd first discovered the power as I tried to cool off in the sound earlier this year. I might ask the Khione kids to help me out, I'm sure they knew something about it.

However, I return my focus to Lilith. Feeling a tugging sensation in my stomach, a moderately-sized wave begins to form a bit away. I turn the surfboard so that it would easily catch the wave at the best point and carry Lilith all the way to shore.

"You've got this. Just stay calm and keep your balance," I say.

~Lilith~
"Okay," I say, swallowing a breath in anxiety at the oncoming wave. Xavier had made sure that it was at the right angle, so I shouldn't have anything to worry about. The wave comes toward me, tugging on the board and pulling me out with it. There's a tugging sense of anxiety in my stomach from the lack of ground beneath me, but I lean forward a little bit so I could avoid falling off. I'm filled with a weird sense of satisfaction as the wave carries me back to shore and stops.

~Xavier
"How'd you feel?" I say as I walk up to her, having caught the wave most of the way myself.

~Lilith~
"Good, but the feeling of no ground under my feet still kind of irks me," I say, sitting down on the edge of the board and kicking my legs in the water.

~Xavier
"You'll get used to it. Don't you want to surf a pipeline?"

~Lilith~
"That sounds terrifying."

~Xavier
"It's a classic Hawaiian wave. They're awesome, trust me."

~Lilith~
"I'm very white and not Hawaiian, thank you very much. And also not a water boy."

~Xavier
"You'll always regret it if you pass it up now."

~Lilith~
"Will you buy me a lollipop if I do it? I'd really regret passing that up."

~Xavier
"Sure, fine. You'll thank me for this after."
