Training Area~

Sammy~
I shrug, "Why not, let's make this a little more interesting" I say with a slight smirk as I take out my scythe

Lance

Blah blah blah idk Im here now

~Xavier
"Alright, I'll fight without mine. Let's see how you do."

With that, I charge, trident in hand.

~Evelyn~
I appeared in the stands of the training arena after I touched the tree by the creek and teleported to the arena through a weed in the cracked stone stands.

Sam-
I quickly sidestep before slashing at him

~Xavier
Blocking with my trident, I narrowly stop her from chopping my head off. I push her back, trying to get her off balance.

Sammy-
I lose my balance staggering back but I quickly regain it getting into a defensive position

~Xavier
I swing the trident at her like a bat, trying to keep her moving but also not hurt her.

Sammy~
I duck feeling the trident create a breeze above my head. I reach out with the shadows and bind his ankles together hoping to knock him to the ground

~Xavier
I fall, putting my hands up in defeat.

"Nice work. You caught me off guard."

Sammy~
"You say that like it's impressive" I laugh sticking my hand out to help him up

~Xavier
"Very funny. I wasn't using my powers, remember that. Anyways, let's go one more time."

Sammy-
"Okay, let's go again, and use your powers this time" I say getting into my fighting stance

~Xavier
"There's no water here, but just give me one more chance with my trident. I've been practicing, and now that I know what to expect I might surprise you."

Sammy-
I shrug "if you insist" I say letting him have the first attack

~Xavier
Keeping my footwork light, I use both hands to sweep up the bottom of the trident at her.

Sammy~
I narrowly avoid it but I get thrown off balance

~Xavier
Taking advantage of my momentum, I sweep out my leg to trip her, putting myself at the risk of being off balance myself.

Sammy-
I avoid his leg but I was too far off balance and I fall to the ground. I start trying to figure out how I was going to get back up

~Xavier
For a moment I lose my balance, giving her a chance to get back up, but as soon as I find my footing I turn my trident around.

Sammy-
I quickly get back up ignoring the small bit of pain. I reach out to the shadows and they start to wrap around Xavier's feet making it harder for him to move

~Xavier
Already having my balance back, I quickly move out of the shadow's grab, unfortunately giving Sam more time before I could attack.

Sam~
I take that opportunity to swing the blunt end of my scythe at his legs aiming to knock him off of his feet.

~Xavier
I barely block it with my trident, but since I was off balance I tumbled, rolling onto the ground. However, I let myself fall into the roll so that I was on my feet after I did. Trident still in hand, I got ready for whatever came next.

Sammy~
I go at him again using the shadows to try and restrain him.
