The Library

~Evelyn~
"Oh no," I whispered quietly as I shifted the books around my face slightly to get a better look.

~Juliette~
"You know why I broke up with you, and it wasn't all my fault," I say, eyes narrowing.

~Damien
"Oh, of course wearing revealing clothing isn't your fault. It was my fault for getting mad, right?"

~Evelyn~
"Icy..." I mumbled as I continued to watch.

~Juliette~
"It's your fault for being too insecure to believe that I was all yours... Besides, you didn't have any problems with my revealing clothes if only you saw them."

~Damien
"That's because I was your boyfriend, Juliette. I guess you Aphrodite kids just don't understand what a relationship means. You can't just keep going around flirting with everyone and let them gawk at you. How do you think that made me feel? I didn't want to have to ask you to change every time you were out. But you forced me to."

~Evelyn~
"Scandalous," I gasped before I accidentally pushed the books on the shelf and sent them toppling onto the table they were at.

~Juliette~
"I didn't force you to do anything; you knew that I was only really interested in you and you were just too insecure to believe it. I like to look nice and I liked looking nice for you. What did you want me to do, dress in a burlap-" I say, voice cut off by the toppling of books.

~Damien
"It would've been better than letting everyone see-" I begin to run over her sentence as the books fall over.

"What the... who's there?"

~Evelyn~
"Maybe they won't notice me," I whispered as I stayed as still as possible.

~Damien
"Yeah we noticed you," I say, hearing her since the room had been dead silent.

~Juliette~
"You should probably just come out now before you make it worse..." I say, sighing.

~Evelyn~
I stiffened before I poked my head out on the other end of the book case. "Sorry..."

~Damien
"I'm just gonna go. I don't want to deal with you anymore."

~Juliette~
"It's not your fault," I say, sighing and running my fingers through my hair.

"Just don't tell anyone, okay? And I'm not done with you, Damien."

~Evelyn~
"Wait! I can help you," I said before vines blocked the library door to stop him from leaving.

~Damien
"Too bad," I say, heading for the door when the vines show up.

"Do you really think that's are going to stop me?" I say, creating a flame in my hand to burn through the plants.

~Evelyn~
"You could burn down the whole library if you tried that," I said quietly.

~Damien
"Then make the vines go away, idiot."

~Evelyn~
"Then make your problems go away," I said as I crossed my arms.

~Juliette~
"Problems don't just go away."

~Evelyn~
"They can," I said as the vines grew thicker and wicked thorns began to pop out of them.

~Damien
"I'll burn this whole library down and both of you with it if I have to."

~Evelyn~
"That would be murder...and arson...and vandalism."

~Juliette~
"Or, you know, you could just get rid of the vines."
